I’M SO OOOOOOLD!!!

I love everything about this story.… even if it makes me feel a little inadequate. nadequate

So last night I played Designer Purse Bingo. It was the 4th Annual fundraiser for Phi Beta Psi sorority, with proceeds benefiting cancer research. This was my 2nd go round and and it didn’t disappoint. These ladies mean BUSINESS. It’s the most intense 2 1/2 hours of my year… no question.

I didn’t come home with one of the BIG designers, but I did manage to score a little Steve Madden bag during the raffle drawings. I also walked away with a terrible case of bingo arm.

It’s a rare condition thought to be cause by people daubing their bingo sheets on the wrong side first. As my friend Allison said, “This isn’t Hebrew. In English we read from left to right – same rules apply to bingo.” While my dauber tattoo isn’t permanent, the memories sure are. Designer Purse Bingo is a blast and a half and I strongly encourage you to get your gals (or guys) together and participate next year. You’ll be glad you did.

And now, this photo bombing dog makes it into every picture of apartment listing.

So I read a rumor over the weekend that Emma Watson had been cast as Anastasia Steele in the 50 Shades of Grey movie and a little part of me died inside. Thank goodness Emma quickly took to twitter and said,

“Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life.”

…and the world rejoiced! Thank goodness. Stay classy, Em.

I’m hoping that this sunshiny day is a sign of all the lovely spring weather that is just right around the corner, but considering we had snow on the ground two days ago it’s a little unbeleafable. (I know, *groan* right?)
