Indianapolis, IN Homeowner Assistance Event
Bank of America is continuing its commitment to customers by reaching out to more than 2,700 customers in Indianapolis and greater Marion County to help them avoid foreclosure. Customers have been invited to attend a homeowner assistance event Bank of America will host at the Hilton Indianapolis North from Tuesday, March 26 through Thursday, March 28. Customers who attend will receive face-to-face assistance from Bank of America specialists who will review their financial situation to identify alternatives to foreclosure. The bank has also partnered with local non-profits to provide customers with additional on-site financial counseling.
These events are for Bank of America customers only. Customers can register for all upcoming events and find a list of documents required by going online to www.bankofamerica.com/homeownerevent or calling 1.855.201.7426 (toll-free). Appointments are available from 8 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. daily. Se habla español.
2013-2014 Head Start Enrollment
Head Start of Columbus and Edinburgh will begin enrolling for the upcoming school year! Head Start is a free preschool for income-eligible families ages 3 to 5. Classes are 4 hours a day, 5 days a week and includes bus transportation. Please call the number below to begin the enrollment process!

Psychological First Aid and Preparedness
We all recognize the physical and environmental consequences of a disaster. However, what are the psychological consequences? This program will examine the processes and phases associated with the emotional, spiritual and psychological issues associated with post – disaster responses. How a community and individuals can prepare for a disaster will also be explored by the presenter Dr. Rich Lamborn, Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Ivy Tech Community College Columbus/Franklin.
