Do you have a child living in Bartholomew County who is in need of school supplies for the upcoming school year?The Bartholomew County School Supply Assistance Program is accepting registrations until July 19. Call United Way 2-1-1 simply by dialing 2-1-1 or 812-376-6666, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. For Spanish calls, call SUCASA at 812-375-9370, Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm or Tuesday and Thursday, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm to register your child.
If you’d like to make a monetary donation check can be dropped off or mailed to Sans Souci, 1526 13th St Columbus, IN 47201. Please write “School supplies” in the memo line of your check.

The 38th Red White and Blue Festival is June 13 – 15. There is great entertainment scheduled like The Lasting Hope, Southern Comfort and so much more . There will be a wide variety of food and concessions like the world famous Crothersville FFA pork burgers and walking tacos. There will be games and rides for the whole family. And of course, you can’t forget about the parade. Everyone is welcome to come out to the Crothersville Community School grounds to enjoy the fun at Indiana’s most patriotic festival.
