Psi Iota Xi Fundraiser

The Thrift Shop at the corner of Eighth and California is having a sack sale. September 5 and 6,  put all you can in a sack for $5.00. On Saturday, September 7, one day only, each sack is a $1.00.

Our Fall open house will be the following week September 12-14. Be prepared to be amazed and delighted with the fall merchandise we have to offer. As always, our profits go right back into the community!

2013 UNITED WAY DAY OF ACTION

The Volunteer Action Center is looking for 500 volunteers to participate in United Way of Bartholomew County’s 2013 Day of Action.  Local not-for-profit organizations will have volunteer opportunities that range from a 4 hour commitment to an 8 hour commitment for the day.  These opportunities will involve clerical work, outside manual labor, painting, reading to children, sorting donations, etc.  Please contact Angie Huebel via e-mail at ahuebel@uwbarthco.org for more information.

“LIVE UNITED” Campaign Kick-off

Join the United Way of Bartholomew County at Amazing Joe’s Grill on September 5th between 7:00 am – 9:00 am for our 2013-2014 Campaign Kick Off!  We will be pre-selling tickets to the event.  For a $5.00 donation, you will receive a plated breakfast, plus be entered into a drawing to win “Dinner For a Year” at Amazing Joe’s Grill*** (a $600 value)!  You may stop by Amazing Joe’s Grill between 7:00 am to 9:00 am on September 5th to enjoy breakfast and socializing.

Tickets will be available August 15th through September 4th at the United Way of Bartholomew County, 1531 13th Street and Amazing Joe’s Grill, 2607 Central Ave.  Tickets are $5.00. Please make sure to bring your ticket with you and filled out to the Campaign Kick Off on September 5th.  We will collect your ticket and enter you in the drawing to win “Dinner For a Year” at Amazing Joe’s Grill.

Please tell your friends and family about our event and we will see you on September 5th!

***The $5 is non-tax deductible.  “Dinner for a Year” at Amazing Joe’s Grill is a $50.00 gift card for 12 months (a $600 value!).  To win, you must bring your pre-purchased ticket/ticket to the Campaign Kick Off breakfast.  A winner will be drawn at 9:00 am.  If you are not present, you will be contacted to receive your gift.
