The Kenko Challenge (Kenko means “health” in Japanese) is an 8 week team-based wellness challenge. The challenge begins April 2nd and run through May 28th. There are fun and energizing interactive challenges and games where healthy lifestyles behaviors will be practiced. Teams of 2-7 need to register at www.kenkochallenge.com The cost of $15.00 per person includes all costs, including a lipid/glucose screening voucher. Team with the highest total points will win prizes as the KENKO champions!
The Literacy Blooms Tea benefiting the Book Buddies program will be held at Irwin Gardens on Saturday, May 10th. Seating times are 1:00 and 2:30. Tickets are $15 each, age 2 and under are free.
Stroll through the gardens and interact with Little Red Riding Hood characters. Self-serve lunch included. Come see the gardens in bloom.

Jeff Smith, PGA Professional, Director of Instruction at Otter Creek and Plane and Simple Golf School, will provide tips on improving your golf game including swinging the club, short shots, understanding playing strategies and your mental attitude. Do not bring your golf clubs with you. Jeff has been at Otter Creek since 2010 and has been nominated for Teacher of the Year in Indiana 4 times and has taught over 12, 500 lesson hours since 1994.
A tribute concert performed by professional impersonator Dave Ehlert featuring the music of Elvis Presley, Rod Stewart, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, Neil Diamond, Roy Orbison, Willie Nelson and more. A fun night for all sponsored by the Bartholomew County Library Associates. Ehlert first began impersonating Elvis in 1967, 10 years before the iconic singer died.
