An exhibit of Book Art from the students of the Herron School of Art & Design, IUPUI in Indianapolis
The exhibit is free and open to the public for viewing in the cases on the second floor of The Commons, 300 Washington Street, Columbus, Indiana, from May 28 through June 30, whenever the Commons is not reserved for private events. The public is invited to meet the artists to learn more about their work at a reception in their honor on Tuesday, June 24, 6:00–7:30 PM at the upper level of the Commons.
The inaugural Anchor House Golf Outing will be held on Friday, July 18, at Shadowood Golf Course, in Seymour. A shotgun start will kick off the fun at 1 p.m. Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. with registration beginning at 11:30 a.m.
The golf scramble offers contests in putting, longest drive and a “Beat the Mayor” contest. A 2014 Cadillac is the grand prize for a hole in one winner. Golf bags, Titleist irons, Fairway woods, Course GPS, Practice iron, Odyssey putters, Hybrid iron, golf certificates and Titleist golf balls are a few of the prizes offered during the event.
The $75 entry fee includes green fee, cart, range balls, prize drawings, lunch and a photo. All proceeds from the event benefit Anchor House Family Assistance Center.

Canary Creek Cinemas Summer Movie Camp is held at Canary Creek Cinemas in Franklin. The Summer Movie Camp runs every Wednesday morning for 10 weeks. The 2014 series will begin on Wednesday, May 28th and conclude on Wednesday, July 30th . Doors open at 9:15am, movie starts at 10am. This is a free event open to all ages in our community. We will have many popular G & PG rated titles for the family friendly free shows. The Summer Movie Camphas been offered for the past twelve years at Canary Creek Cinemas.
Greensburg Country Club. The cost is $75 per person or $300 per team and includes green fees, sack lunch and dinner. There will be a shotgun start at 11:00 A.M. with dinner and awards immediately following the tournament.
