August 1st Deadline for Johnson County Community Foundation Letter of Inquiry
The Johnson County Community Foundation will again offer grants to area nonprofits during its next grant cycle. Grants will be awarded to 501(c)3 organizations, schools and municipalities that serve Johnson County residents in the area of agriculture, arts & culture, civic & community development, education, enrichment, and health & human services.
A letter of inquiry must be submitted by August 1st to the Johnson County Community Foundation and can be found in the Apply for a Grant page of the Foundation’s website at www.jccf.org.
The community foundation makes it possible for people of all means to act philanthropically, regardless of the size of their donation, and provides leadership to improve Johnson County forever. Donations may be made at any time to established funds. A list of established funds can be located at www.jccf.org.

GRADS Preschool, Seymour’s first ever public preschool, will be hosting a screening Day on July 17th at Redding Elementary.
You will need to bring your birth certificate and shot records to the screening. Students will be selected based on need after the screenings are complete.

Jennings County Youth Foundation (JCYF) is hosting the third annual Kid’s Camp. This summer youth camp provides an affordable (FREE) camp experience for the youth of Jennings County and surrounding areas. This camp will help children grow by providing a supervised, positive environment that has safety and education as primary commitments.
Joining together for the betterment of those who live, learn, work & play in the State Street-East Columbus Area.
Home food preservation class series will cover a broad range of topics within a hands-on learning environment. Participants are encouraged to register early since space is limited.
