August 1st Deadline for Johnson County Community Foundation Letter of Inquiry
The Johnson County Community Foundation will again offer grants to area nonprofits during its next grant cycle. Grants will be awarded to 501(c)3 organizations, schools and municipalities that serve Johnson County residents in the area of agriculture, arts & culture, civic & community development, education, enrichment, and health & human services.
A letter of inquiry must be submitted by August 1st to the Johnson County Community Foundation and can be found in the Apply for a Grant page of the Foundation’s website at www.jccf.org.
The community foundation makes it possible for people of all means to act philanthropically, regardless of the size of their donation, and provides leadership to improve Johnson County forever. Donations may be made at any time to established funds. A list of established funds can be located at www.jccf.org.

Community day at Southwest Fire Department is July 19th from 11am-7pm.
Come join us learn fire safety, ask questions, and enjoy the day.
The boy scouts will be serving food.
Casey Cole, Thunderbeard Records, will discuss how he started this project, bring in records and do a demo on how a record press works.
