JCB NeighborFEST Conert Series: My Yellow Rickshaw

The free outdoor concert series will be held in the 300 block of Washington Street. Concerts begin at 5:30 PM on the first Thursday of the month, June through September. The series is offered at no cost to the community through the generous financial support of JCB.

2014 marks the return of JCB NeighborFEST to its original location, outside in the 300 block of Washington Street. The move from Fourth Street reopens connections to The Commons and kidscommons and allows for easier access to the playground [in The Commons], creating a more family-friendly environment.

Thursday, August 7: My Yellow Rickshaw makes their Columbus debut. Popular in the Indianapolis music scene, My Yellow Rickshaw plays a little bit of everything, from Skynard to Usher, Zac Brown Band to Miley, and The Temptations to Bieber. The band was named by two of its founding members after returning from a trip to India, where they befriended a man who drove a yellow rickshaw for a living.

Thursday, September 4: Terry Lee and the Rockaboogie Band wraps up the 2014 JCB NeighborFEST season with a high energy, first class show built around the lightning fast piano pumpin’, rockaboogie playing of London, England’s Terry Lee. Audience members will be able to jive, bop, two step, and sing the night away.
