Dining with Diabetes is a series of classes targeted to persons with or at risk for type 2 diabetes and their families. Harriet Armstrong, Health and Human Science Extension Educator, will be offering two different series of classes. You can visit the Purdue/Bartholomew County Extension website to download a flier and registration form.
Archaeologist Rick Jones will give a presentation on the development of North American archaeology as a discipline and its studies, from speculation to scientific inquiry, with corresponding examples of the various themes and topics in Indiana. Afterwards, there will be artifact identification. Bring an artifact or two to show, discuss, and have identified. September is Archaeology Month in Indiana.
