Ventriloquism and Juggling = Family Fun

Mike Hemmelgarn’s 45-minute program incorporates ventriloquism, juggling, balloons, a touch of magic and audience participation.  Hemmelgarn has been fascinated with ventriloquism since the age of eight and juggling since the age of sixteen. He sold newspaper subscriptions door to door to earn money to purchase his first “dummy”, a hardwood puppet named “Bob”.  He learned to juggle with tennis balls and has evolved to bowling balls, garden weasels, and even juggles a bowling ball, apple and a plunger…while eating the apple!  This program is sponsored by the Bartholomew County Library Associates.
