Columbus North 8th Grade Soccer Meeting
Columbus North High School Men’s Soccer Team will be holding a brief meeting for all 8th graders interested in playing soccer at Columbus North for the fall season. This meeting will take place on May 15, 2013 at 6:00 pm in the Columbus North High School Cafeteria. This meeting will focus on the discussion of the summer schedule. season schedule changes, and general expectations.

The Tabitha Brock Memorial Concert
The family of Tabitha Gayle Brock will be hosting a Memorial Concert to raise awareness about domestic violence on May 11, 2013 at the V.F.W in Seymour, Indiana from 2:00 pm-11:00 pm. There is a $5 entry fee per person, but kids under 12 years old get in free! Please join us in remembering our beautiful Tabitha and all victims of violence as we celebrate their life. There will be a moment of silence for all those who have lost a loved one to violence to stand in their memory and those who wish to bring photos of their loved one may do so. We will have a table set up for their pictures.

Car Show for Riley Kids
Car Show benefiting Riley’s Children’s Hospital on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the FairOaks Mall [near the K-Mart parking lot] in Columbus. Car entry at 11:30 am. Event starts at 12:00 noon. Prizes will be drawn at 3:30 pm.
Come support a Columbus Signature Academy High School Senior Project. There will be a free car, truck and motorcycle show, as well as music, prize drawing for car show entries, and a raffle drawing. Donations will be accepted for Riley Children’s Hospital.

Kite Festival and BBQ
The Islamic Society of Columbus and the Middle East Association presents its first annual Kite Festival and BBQ!
There will also be a Best Kite Contest!
We will have an hour workshop at 11:00 am on making kites and then a BBQ, or bring your own kite for a day of fun!
