Introducing Windows 8
Are you new to Windows 8 or thinking about buying a new computer and want to know more about the Microsoft Windows 8 interface? Join us for an introduction and demonstration of some of the new features. You are welcome to bring your own Windows 8 laptop/tablet to practice on. Indianapolis Colts Tailgate Tour Stop
The Indianapolis Colts are gearing up for another great season with the 2013 Tailgate Tour, beginning June 4 through July 15. The 2013 Tailgate Tour marks the tenth year the Indianapolis Colts have hosted a summer traveling marketing campaign featuring players and cheerleaders. Sponsored by American Family Insurance, the Indiana Corn Marketing Council and the Indiana Soybean Alliance, the Colts Tailgate Tour will make seven stops throughout Indiana. The tour makes it’s first stop at Harrison College in Columbus! The stop will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Special notes: The Colts encourage all fans to arrive early. The line for player and cheerleader autographs may be cut off at any time to ensure the Tour remains on schedule. Inclement weather or traffic may cause for late arrival or early departure. All Tailgate Tour stops will take place rain or shine. Colts player names will not be announced prior to the arrival in each city. Fans will be allowed one autograph per person; however fans may get back in line for additional autographs. All Colts Tailgate Tour event times are local.

The 7th Annual Cooper Classic will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013, at Harrison Lake Golf Course to benefit the Northside Middle School Athletic Department’s general fund and will be earmarked for scholarships and equipment. Registration will begin at 11:00am with a Shot-Gun start slated for 12:00 pm. A meal will be served at 5:00 pm. Awards and meal will follow golf.
This is a great way to entertain clients, or out-of-town guests attending graduations, while supporting a great community cause. If you are not available to golf, consider one of the many sponsorship opportunities available or simple make a donation. Strength for Scott 5K Fun Run/Walk
Join us for the #TeamScottStrong “Strength for Scott” 5K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, June 1 at 7:00 PM. The run will take place at Cambridge Square Apartments in Columbus. Registration begins at 5:30 PM, and the run starts at 7:00 PM. Pre-registration is $20/person, or $25/person day of race. There will be prizes and raffles!
All Proceeds support the medical expenses for Scott Armstrong who was severely injured in a vehicle accident on April 10, 2013.

One day event! Invite all of your friends and family to come out and join us for this free fun time of dancing and doing something good for your body and soul! We will be dancing for a cause and raising money Derek Benson, a wonderful young man with two daughters, who recently underwent a liver transplant to help with his medical costs. The class is free, there is a suggested donation of $5/person. We will also have a raffle for prizes! This event is for LADIES only! Cheese Making Class
Say Cheese! If you are a cheese lover this class is bound to make you smile. Join us as we go through the process of cheese making. You will learn the fundamentals of the cheese making process as well as make and take home two varieties.
Registration is required. Materials are included and samples will be abundant. Ages 13 and up. Class will be located at the Historic Henry Breeding Farm in the Kitchen of the barn.

Dinner & Bikes
May is Bike Month! Please join us on Monday, May 27 from 5pm to 8pm at Eastside Community Center for Dinner and Bikes. Dinner & Bikes is a month-long tour of the central and northeastern U.S., featuring a traveling road show of vegan food and bicycle inspiration. Joshua Ploeg will delight with a vegan and gluten free buffet dinner, Elly Blue will present about her new book, Everyday Bicycling, a friendly, basic guide to bicycle transportation that includes chapters on carrying cargo, family bicycling, and advocacy, and Joe Biel will show a near-complete excerpt from Aftermass, his forthcoming documentary about the history of bicycle activism in Portland. The event is followed with a book signing and time for questions, discussion of local issues, and perusing the traveling bookstore.
