Grand Opening – Affordable Columbus Dentistry

Affordable Columbus Dentistry Is Affordable Healthcare!

Columbus, IN:

Local dentist sees affordable dentistry as affordable healthcare and opens the first walk-in, reduced-cost dental office at 1942 State Street/State Road 46 East in Columbus!

Dr. Christopher Bartels, DDS first opened Tipton Lakes Family Dentist in July of 2009, at 4570 West Jonathan Moore Pike/State Road 46 West, to help people of all ages maintain a healthy and beautiful smile. Dr. Bartels treats patients for routine dental care, in addition to extractions, root canals, crowns, and dentures.

Over the years, many patients have shared with Dr. Bartels how difficult receiving treatment can be, due to lack of insurance. Opening Affordable Columbus Dentistry, on east State Street, has given Dr. Bartels the opportunity to enhance the current building structure and property, while simultaneously providing individuals and families, with little or no dental insurance, access to quality and affordable dental care.

Dr. Bartels and the Affordable Columbus Dentistry staff are hosting a Grand Open House, Friday, April 25th and Saturday, April 26th, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. each day. There will be drawings for free dental procedures and prizes given by local businesses that support affordable dental healthcare.

The public is invited and encouraged to participate in Affordable Columbus Dentistry’s Grand Open House and learn more about the benefits of affordable oral healthcare. Those living and working in Bartholomew and the surrounding counties, no longer need to put off going to the dentist because of cost.

Focus Areas for Effective Development

As part of our 2014 Nurturing Nonprofits Learning Series, we’re going to look at Donor Development with Melanie J. Norton.

Focus Areas for Effective Development

Part one of this session will take a look at donor motivation and share the latest information on who gives and why.  How do you know where to focus your efforts and most effectively use these precious resources?  And how do you translate this focus into increased philanthropic dollars for your organization?

Introducing Planned Giving into your donor conversations.  In the second half, you’ll discover tools and tips to help you provide the full range of giving opportunities to your donors and prospects.  As an important partner of major and annual giving, a robust planned giving program is a chief component of any development operation and a strong deferred gift pipeline provides financial stability for your organization.

Cost is $35 per session

Time: 8:30am Continental Breakfast, 9:00 – 11:30am Program

To register, email tshuck@franklincollege.edu or call the LJC at 317-738-8264.
