Brown County Bridal Tour

A new kind of Bridal Show, one where you actually visit venues and experience what your big day will feel like. Come on out to some of the most popular wedding locations in Brown County, and meet with local vendors who specialize in Brown County weddings.

Most bridal shows present a booth to booth experience, walking through crowds to multiple tables of fliers. While the Brown County Bridal Tour will offer the same benefits of meeting with different vendors, we are hoping to provide a more hands on, one on one experience. You will actually be able to go into popular venues in the area, and see what each atmosphere is like, and if it is right for you. Our goal is to help you experience a preview of the magic of Brown County weddings.

Tickets – $8-presale, $10-at the door

Empty Bowls

Please be part of a wonderful annual event that helps provide food to area food shelters throughout the year —- and at the same time brings the community together to enjoy a good meal, good friends, and some great music – EMPTY BOWLS 2014.

This year will be the 16th Annual Empty Bowls dinner in Columbus. Local potters make bowls that people can purchase along with a meal of donated homemade soups and breads. The bowls remind us of how we can help when we come together — last year this event was able to raise and donate over $14,000.00 NET to help combat hunger through Love Chapel, Human Services, Hope Community Center and Eastside Community Center.

Please consider providing soup, bread, and/or desert. If you can make a food donation, please contact SaraBeth Drybread. Food can be picked up the day of the event on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014.

Adult Meal — soup, bread, drink — $10
Meal with artisan keepsake bowl — $20
Children 10 & under — $3
Desserts — $1
