The 7th Annual Cooper Classic will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013, at Harrison Lake Golf Course to benefit the Northside Middle School Athletic Department’s general fund and will be earmarked for scholarships and equipment. Registration will begin at 11:00am with a Shot-Gun start slated for 12:00 pm. A meal will be served at 5:00 pm. Awards and meal will follow golf.
This is a great way to entertain clients, or out-of-town guests attending graduations, while supporting a great community cause. The Colts encourage fans to arrive early. The line for player and cheerleader autographs may be cut off at anytime to ensure the tour remains on schedule. The Colts Tailgate Tour will take place rain or shine. Colts players’ names will not be announced prior to their arrival in each city. Fans will be allowed one autograph per person, however, fans may get back in line for additional autographs.

McDonald’s Presents Kids’ Triathlon
McDonald’s Presents a Kids’ Triathlon featuring swimming, biking, and running. It will be held at Franklin Community High School in Franklin, Indiana, on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 8:00 am. This is a rain or shine event. Ages 5 – 12 are welcome. Hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Franklin.

Katie McBurnett 5K
The Katie McBurnett 5K is in memory of Katie McBurnett, Columbus resident, who passed away on Sept. 18, 2012, after having received a life-saving heart transplant on March 29, 2007. The race will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at beautiful Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana. Registration can be made online at signmeup.com/92239, and the cost of the race will be $20 before September 1. This cost will include a t-shirt and a goodie bag. All proceeds will be used to purchase Cough Buddy animals for children at Riley Hospital for Children. Cough Buddy animals are stuffed animals with a hard back that serve as splints for patients who have recently had abdomen or chest surgery. Katie received a Cough Buddy in 2007 at Riley, but the hospital as since stopped giving them to children. We want to get them back in the arms of the kids who need them the most. Family Service Golf Scramble & Luncheon
Dine, golf or both at the Family Service Golf Scramble & Luncheon May 9th at Harrison Lake Country Club. Festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. with the luncheon and golf sign-in, followed by a shotgun start at 1 p. m.
There will be door prizes (everyone is eligible), course awards and a 50/50 raffle. And golfers—you might win a car from Renner Motors!
