COLUMBUS, Ind. – It is official, the Columbus Scottish Festival will return to the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds on September 7 and 8 for a weekend of Scottish entertainment, competition, history, and more.

The annual festival features the Columbus Scottish Festival pageant, sheepdog demonstrations, live music, a children’s area, food vendors, and a Celtic market.

The Annual Highland Games will be held on the Clara Elizabeth Robertson Memorial Athletic Field. The games will be an open, amateur competition but in contrast to previous years will only be on Saturday. On Sunday,  professional demonstrations will be held as well as an opportunity for audience participation in feats of strength.

Many ticket options are available for purchase including weekend and family packages. Children under four are admitted free of charge. A percentage of your ticket helps support Advocates for Children and Utopia Wildlife Rehabilitators.
