Sleeping Beauty will be brought to life by ArtReach at Old National Bank’s First Fridays for Families on Friday, May 2 at 6:00 PM in The Commons. All First Fridays for Families programs are free thanks to the generous financial support of Old National Bank. Additional funding for this program is provided by the Custer, Nugent, and Teegarden Foundations.
Originally published by Charles Perrault in 1697, Sleeping Beauty tells the story of a princess who is cursed to 100 years of sleep by pricking her finger on an enchanted spindle. Although protected by her fairy godmother, will anyone be able to save her? Young and old will enjoy ArtReach’s enchanting adaptation.
Sponsored by Old National Bank, First Fridays for Families is a free arts program that focuses on enriching the lives of pre-kindergarten through third grade children by highlighting the performing arts. All First Fridays for Families programs begin at 6:00 PM on the first Friday of each month from November through April and are held in the Nugent Custer Performance Hall in The Commons in downtown Columbus.
