It is often difficult to know how to appropriately and effectively communicate your care, concern and willingness to help, when cancer strikes a friend, extended family member, neighbor or colleague.  Cancer survivor and author Rev. Bonnie Draeger will share the expertise of 40 cancer professionals and hundreds of survivors and their families during this session. She will share the ten gifts of friendship –from hope and spiritual care, to normalcy, nitty-gritty everyday help, and much more.  Copies of her book When Cancer Strikes a Friend will be available for purchase.  Columbus residents, Dr. Ben Ranck and Rev. Bill Griffith contributed to the book. Draeger is a former Columbus resident.
