World AIDS day 2013 will be observed at the Columbus Learning Center on Friday evening, November 22, 2013. Sponsored by Arts for AIDS and IUPUC, the event is free and open to the public. This is a rare opportunity to view “Fire in the Blood” which is the never-before-told true story of the fight to save millions of lives with AIDS medication.
There will also be a wonderful African Bazaar with many handmade items from the Imani Workshops in Eldoret, Kenya. Paintings from Haiti and Kenya will also be for sale.
We welcome you to check out the African Bazaar and enjoy refreshments any time from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, and then view the powerful one and a half hour film “Fire in the Blood” at 7:00 PM.
