Position: News Director
QMIX iis looking for an experienced News Director for our stations. Duties include:
- collecting and writing local stories from local sources
- attending meetings
- voicing newscasts
- updating websites
- being “ready to go” in the event of breaking news.
Accuracy is critical and community involvement essential.
This News Director position is a permanent, full time, with regular morning hours, a few late night meetings, and some Saturdays.
