She says it gets her psyched and focused for competition, and it caught criticism as it wasn’t a traditional way someone would focus, psychologists say if it works go for it. Everyone needs a routine to give themselves a “perceived sense of control” as it reduces anxiety and puts you in a better position for success and you can apply it to other things like first dates or job interviews.
