GREENWOOD, Ind. — The Greenwood Public Library (GPL) is opening its doors for an after-hours event for adults 21 and up next month. Library After Dark, a fundraiser benefiting the Greenwood Library Foundation, is set for Friday, June 16, from 7 to 10 p.m.

Tickets are $25 per person and include soft drinks, snacks, laser tag, crafts, photo ops, and more. Adult beverages will also be for sale from Hoosier Brewing.

GPL hosted its first Library After Dark event in January and it sold out. “This is an opportunity to experience the library like a kid again,” said Assistant Director Emily Ellis. “We’re excited to be hosting another Library After Dark, this time with an “Out of This World” theme celebrating a variety of fandoms including Star Wars, Star Trek, Dr. Who, and more.”

Participants will be able to earn raffle tickets throughout the night for a chance to win one of three prize baskets. Ticket information can be found on the GPL website at greenwoodlibrary.us.
