NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County High School (JCHS) Hall of Fame Committee met this week to discuss nominees for induction into the JCHS Hall of Fame.
There were 12 JCHS alumni nominated for consideration and three Honorary Alumni nominations, according to a press release.
After a vote, it was decided that four individuals would be welcomed into the JCHS Hall of Fame:
- Steve Gasper – Class of 1986
- Marshall Zamora – Class of 1995
- Anne Poore – Class of 1995
- Paul “Ham” Wernke – Honorary Alumni Inductee
The banquet and induction ceremony for the Hall of Fame Class of 2023 will be held on Saturday, January 13, during halftime of the boys’ varsity basketball game vs. Bedford North Lawrence.
