Upcoming Events At This Venue
March 5, 2015
Festival guests can expect to find a wide variety of maple dishes, ranging from sweet to savory and everything in between. Not only will restaurants feature dishes that bring a unique maple twist to classic favorites, there will also be truly one-of-a-kind maple creations on the menu too.
Just outside of town, guests at this year’s fifth-anniversary Festival can satisfy their sweet tooth with some maple walnut chocolate chip cookies at the 19th Hole Sports Bar at Salt Creek Golf Retreat or some mouthwatering apple maple bacon fritters at the Brown County Inn.
As the National Maple Syrup Festival approaches, more recipes and restaurants will join in this “Maple on the Menu” feature of the Festival. A complete list of participating restaurants can be found at http://
Maple also will be on the menu during several other National Maple Syrup Festival activities. On March 7 and 8, the Dutch Oven Diva will prepare maple dishes live in front of spectators over a campfire in the Brown County State Park. Gourmet hot chocolate and maple marshmallows from Brooke’s Candy Co. and 240Sweet also will be available.
Several other activities and events will be occurring throughout the county and within the Village of Nashville as part of the National Maple Syrup Festival, including live sugaring demonstrations, historical reenactments, interpretive hikes, the sale of maple-related goods and foods, family fun, and much more.
