A fall tradition for the Bartholomew County Historical Society, Pumpkin Palloosa celebrates everything pumpkin! Why do we carve pumpkins? Who were the first people to grow pumpkins? What parts of the pumpkin are edible? Why are they called jack-o-lanterns? Learn the answers to all these questions and more as we discover pumpkin lore and even carve a pumpkin to take home! Enjoy this fall favorite with your family. Our Saturday Samplers are monthly family friendly workshops catered towards small children.

We will be looking at clothing, weapons, and daily life. Have fun with us as we learn to joust, launch a catapult, and even try some food! Our Saturday Samplers are monthly family friendly workshops catered towards small children.
