Whether you're training for your first 5K or preparing for the half marathon or marathon, our FREE Mill Race Marathon Training Program is designed to help you reach your goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.
What to Expect
Our 8+1 week educational series features guest presenters and covers topics including:
- Training Program Introduction & Running Tips
- Shoes, Running Attire & Training Cycles
- Nutrition & Hydration
- Cross Training, Core Strength & Yoga for Runners
- Balance, Breathing & Running Techniques
- Injuries & Injury Prevention
- Advanced Running Tips & Race Preparation
Weekly Community Training Sessions
- Tuesdays | 7:00 PM
- Interval Training
- Learn running mechanics, mobility exercises, and speed development through alternating sprint and recovery intervals.
- Thursdays | 7:00 PM
- Tempo Training
- Build endurance and confidence by practicing sustained efforts at a pace slightly faster than your goal race pace.
- Saturdays | 7:00 AM Class | 7:30 AM Run
- Long Runs
- Gradually increase distance each week while training alongside fellow participants.
