Please note: The package does not include the final driving test required for licensing. The driving test may be scheduled separately for a $50 fee.

Why Driver’s Education Matters

Students enrolled in an approved driver’s education program may obtain their learner’s permit beginning at age 15.

Students who successfully complete driver’s education and hold their learner’s permit for at least 180 days may be eligible to receive their driver’s license at age 16 years.

Without driver’s education, students must wait until age 16 to obtain a learner’s permit and must then hold the permit for at least 180 days before becoming eligible for a driver’s license.

Prize Restrictions

• The certificate expires August 31, 2027.

• The student must be at least 15 years old to enroll in driver’s education and should turn 15 no later than August 31, 2027.

• Prize has no cash value.

• Prize is non-transferable.
