EDINBURGH, Ind. - The Edinburgh Police Department attempted to stop a motorcycle that had fled from a Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office Deputy on Thursday, September 3.
The motorcyclist ignored the Edinburgh officers, and a chase began near US 31 and Bartholomew County Road 900N and continued through multiple county roads.
Edinburgh Police Chief Doyne Little said the pursuit ended near Johnson County Roads 300S and 200E when the driver tried to turn around, entered a grassy area, and dropped the motorcycle.
Justice Gallagher, 22, of Columbus, was apprehended without further incident and transported to the Bartholomew County Jail for processing.
