Franklin Community Garden returns next month

FRANKLIN, Ind. - Applications for the City of Franklin and Franklin Parks and Recreation Community Garden are officially open.

Apply to have your own traditional or raised beds at the city's Community Garden, located at 448 Center St. Gardening season is April 1 through October 31.

Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and will close once all plots are taken. Apply here. Signing up does not guarantee that you will get a plot.

PRICE BREAKDOWN FOR 2026

Franklin residents:   

  • 1 Raised Bed = $25    
  • 2 Raised Beds = $40    
  • 1 Traditional Plot = $30

Non-Residents rates    

  • 1 Raised Bed = $45     
  • 2 Raised Beds = $60     
  • 1 Traditional Plot = $50

  • Franklin's Graham Road project starts Monday

    FRANKLIN, Ind. - Phase 1 of the Graham Road project in Franklin begins on or after Monday, August 24. The contractor says Graham Road will be fully reconstructed from Earlywood Drive to Paul Hand Boulevard, and the bridge over Canary Creek will be replaced.
