FRANKLIN, Ind. - Frankin Community Schools (FCS) recently received a generous donation to the Franklin Community High School (FCHS) Agricultural Education Center.
At the January FCS board meeting, members, alumni, and supporters of Franklin Future Farmers of America (FFA) presented a $400,000 check to support the construction of the new facility.
The FFA gift reflects the unselfishness of multiple community donors and includes a matching $100,000 grant from the Johnson County Community Foundation.
An FCHS spokesperson said, "We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this possible and thrilled for what this new facility will mean for our students and the future of agricultural education in Franklin."
