Most schools welcome students back on Thursday

SOUTH-CENTRAL, Ind. - Following the snowstorm last weekend, a few schools in south-central Indiana are still closed on Thursday, but most will reopen, with students reporting two hours late.

Here is the list of area schools and their status for Thursday, January 29:

  • Bartholomew Consolidated Schools - 2-hour delay
  • Franklin Community Schools - 2-hour delay
  • Flat Rock-Hawcreek School Corporation - 2-hour delay
  • Seymour Community School Corporation - Closed; eLearning day
  • Edinburgh Community School Corporation - 2-hour delay
  • Jennings County School Corporation - Closed; virtual learning
  • Center Grove Community Schools - 2-hour delay
  • Brown County Schools - Closed; snow day
  • Greensburg Community Schools - 2-hour delay
  • Brownstown Central Schools - Closed; eLearning day
  • Clark-Pleasant Community Schools - 2-hour delay
  • Decatur County Community Schools - Closed; snow day
  • Greenwood Community Schools - 2-hour delay
