WHITELAND, Ind. - The Whiteland Police Department (WPD), along with assisting agencies, responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 31 and Whiteland Road on Monday, August 10, just before 4 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found one male driver deceased at the scene. His identity will be released following notification of the next of kin.
The other male driver involved was transported to Franciscan Health St. Francis for evaluation.
The WPD investigation remains ongoing, and investigators are continuing their work to reconstruct the circumstances surrounding the accident. The intersection was closed for several hours.
