15 Vote Centers are open on Primary Election Day; Governmental offices closed

COLUMBUS, Ind. - Columbus City Hall and City of Columbus offices are closed on Tuesday, May 5, in observance of Election Day. All collections will run as scheduled with no delay.

The Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center and BCSWMD District Offices (720 South Mapleton St.) are also closed on Primary Election Day; however, the Bartholomew County Landfill is open regular hours.

Election Day voting will take place at 15 Vote Centers throughout Bartholomew County, open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is no voting at the Courthouse.

  • Flintwood Wesleyan Church on 25th Street in Columbus

  • Atterbury-Bakalar Air Museum on Ray Boll Blvd. in Columbus

  • Gather Columbus on 25th Street in Columbus

  • Mt. Healthy Community Church in Columbus

  • Elizabethtown Fire Station in Elizabethtown

  • Westside Community Church on Tipton Lakes Blvd. in Columbus

  • River of Living Water Christian Church on Brooks Street in Columbus
