BCSO swears in new deputy

COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Bartholomew County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) welcomed its newest merit deputy when Daniel Brenneman took his oath on Tuesday, January 20.

Sheriff Chris Lane did the honors of swearing in the new deputy.

Brenneman is a native of Shelby County and a graduate of Marian University.

For the past year, he has been working as a corrections officer with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Lane said, "We’d like to welcome Daniel to the team and hope he has a successful career here at the Bartholomew CountySheriff’s Office."
