Brown County's 'Spring Blossom Parade' is first Saturday in May

NASHVILLE, Ind. - The Brown County Lions Club presents the Spring Blossom Parade on Saturday, May 2, at 11 a.m.

This year’s parade carries a special theme, “Art in Bloom: Celebrating 100 Years of Art and Artists in Brown County,” honoring a century of creativity in the community. The celebration coincides with the centennial of the Brown County Art Gallery, marking 100 years of artistic heritage that has shaped Brown County into a nationally recognized arts destination.

Visitors can expect imaginative floats, fancy cars, antique tractors, and community groups of all kinds inspired by the rich legacy of Brown County artists, landscapes, and creative traditions.

Spectators are invited to line VanBuren and Jefferson Streets in downtown Nashville to celebrate springtime in Brown County and a milestone year for its arts community.

Community organizations, businesses, schools, artists, families, and individuals are all encouraged to participate. Registration is still open for parade participants on the Brown County Lions Club Facebook page or by clicking here
