CPD 'Pack-a-Cruiser' is Saturday at Kroger

Courtesy-CPD

COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Columbus Police Department (CPD) is once again partnering with Kroger and Love Chapel for the "Pack-a-Cruiser" event this Saturday, May 30.

CPD officers and employees will be at Kroger, 3060 N National Rd., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., collecting non-perishable food donations to support families in need.

Last year's "Pack-a-Cruiser" collected thousands of pounds of food that was donated directly to Love Chapel.

You are invited to stop by on Saturday, say hello, and help fill a police cruiser with donations for local families.

A CPD spokesperson said, "With the community's support, we are looking forward to making this year's event another big success."
