EDINBURGH, Ind. — The Edinburgh Town Council passed two key resolutions designating surplus municipal property during its special meeting on August 31.
Under Resolution 2026-9, the council designated surplus town banners to be offered for sale to the public.
Additionally, the council approved Resolution 2026-10, authorizing the donation of a surplus police vehicle directly to the local school district.
Town officials noted that both measures allow the municipality to clear out unused equipment while giving back to the local school system and community members.
