Grand Opening of new Columbus Public Works facility is May 20

COLUMBUS, Ind. - The City of Columbus invites citizens and friends to the upcoming Public Works Facility Grand Opening Ceremony at 1350 Arcadia Drive on Wednesday, May 20, at 1 p.m.

Plan to arrive shortly before the event to enjoy light refreshments. Parking instructions and directional information are available on the Eventbrite event page.

Here is the Agenda:

  • 1 p.m. - Opening remarks

  • 1:15 p.m. - Special presentation by Mayor Ferdon

  • 1:20 p.m. - Ribbon Cutting and pictures

  • 1:30 p.m. - Optional site tours

The Grand Opening Ceremony for the new Public Works facility is free, but RSVP here by Friday, May 8, so organizers can get an estimate of the number of attendees.

Those who take the facility tours are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes.
