Heritage Fund seeks applications for Community Fund grants

Courtesy-Heritage Fund

COLUMBUS, Ind. - Nonprofit organizations serving Bartholomew County residents are encouraged to apply for Community Fund grants through Heritage Fund. The community foundation is now accepting competitive applications for the awards.

Grant seekers are advised to submit a letter of intent (LOI) to notify Heritage Fund staff of their interest.

Through the generous support of community members, Heritage Fund annually distributes approximately $750,000 from the unrestricted Community Fund to local nonprofits.

Community Fund grants help Heritage Fund meet emerging needs in Bartholomew County with an emphasis on the Impact Areas of Youth Development, Downtown Vitality, and Arts/Culture/Architecture/Design.

Applications must be submitted by April 3. The LOI is due one week before the application submission deadline. Grant awards will be announced in June.

For more information, visit heritagefundbc.org/grants or email Director of Community Impact, Laura Garrett, at lgarrett@heritagefundbc.org.
