BROWNSTOWN, Ind. - The 2026 Jackson County Agricultural Fair and 4-H Exhibition starts its week-long run on Sunday, July 26, and continues through Saturday, August 1, in Brownstown.
Since its inception in 1939, the celebration has blended the best of agriculture, entertainment, and community spirit. From 4-H exhibits to midway rides to food vendors to family-friendly attractions, there’s something for everyone.
The grandstand is again packed with events this year, including a live concert, a tractor pull, motocross, a demolition derby, and more.
The first big event in the grandstand at the Fair is the Jackson County Fair Queen Contest on Sunday evening, July 26. The pageant begins at 8 p.m., and the admission is $10. Last year's Jackson County Fair Queen, Presley Hampton, is this year's Indiana State Fair Queen.
