BROWNSTOWN, Ind. - Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor E&B Paving, Inc. is scheduled to begin a bridge deck overlay project west of Brownstown on U.S. 50 near the East Fork White River on or after Monday, March 30.

Work will take place on U.S. 50 between the State Road 135 and U.S. 50 interchanges and is expected to be completed in early July, weather permitting. U.S. 50 will be reduced to one lane using temporary traffic signals while the project is in progress.

This construction is part of a $6.8 million contract awarded in July 2025.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. All schedules are subject to change.
