Jennings County 'National Night Out' is Tuesday

NORTH VERNON, Ind. - The Jennings County Sheriff's Office is again hosting "National Night Out" this Tuesday, August 4, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Jennings County Fairgrounds.

National Night Out is an annual community event that brings neighbors and first responders together to strengthen relationships, promote public safety, and build a safer, stronger community in a fun, family-friendly environment.

This year's event will include:    

  • Free hot dogs, chips, and bottled water
  • A coloring contest
  • Music by DJ Eder
  • Face painting
  • Jennings County Animal Control adoption event
  • Ambulances/JCSO patrol cars/Fire trucks
  • Dunk a Deputy

Bring your family, invite your friends, and enjoy an evening of fun while getting to know the men and women who serve the community.
