FRANKLIN, Ind. - The City of Franklin highlighted significant commercial growth and private investment during a Joint Common Council and Franklin School Board meeting on Monday, August 24.

Franklin city officials confirmed several high-profile commercial projects actively moving forward within the community. The new developments span a mix of major corporate manufacturing facilities, popular dining options, and convenience retail services.

Local leadership expects these incoming developments to boost job creation and expand the city's commercial tax base:

  • Wawa: Incoming convenience store and gas station location featuring an adjacent car wash facility
  • Malarkey Roofing Products: A $200 million industrial investment expanding manufacturing operations
  • Chipotle: New quick-service restaurant location expanding local dining options
  • Dutch Bros Coffee: Drive-thru coffee chain adding a new storefront
  • Valvoline: New automotive service location providing routine maintenance services
