Nominations are open for Columbus Chamber's 'Women in Leadership' award

COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2026 "Women in Leadership" award.   A recognition luncheon will be held on August 28 at The Commons to honor the recipient.   

This is your opportunity to nominate a deserving local woman who displays leadership skills, uplifts others, and contributes to improving the lives of others in the community.   

Find the "Women in Leadership" nomination form here. The deadline to submit is July 7.   

The nominated woman should demonstrate the following characteristics:  

  • Employed by a Chamber member organization
  • Outstanding in her profession
  • Uplifts and inspires others
  • Utilizes her time and skills to improve the lives of others
  • Demonstrates a commitment to making a positive social impact in the community, beyond her professional responsibilities
