NORTH VERNON, Ind. - The North Vernon Police Department (NVPD) has arrested Joshua L. Hahn, 46, of North Vernon, following an investigation into a reported theft from a motor vehicle.
Officers received information on Saturday, May 1, related to a prior theft investigation involving stolen vehicle parts. They located a suspect vehicle and made contact with Joshua Hahn, who was identified as a suspect in the case.
The investigation indicated probable cause that Hahn was involved in the theft of property from a vehicle. Additional evidence led to other alleged offenses, including possession of methamphetamine and auto theft.
The suspect was taken into custody and faces the following preliminary charges:

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)

Criminal Conversion
Officer Allen led the inquiry with the assistance of Sergeant Barkes and Officer Gibbons. The case remains under investigation.
