JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. - Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Conservation Officers are investigating a drowning that occurred Thursday evening at Crosley Lake, south of Vernon in Jennings County.

Allman and a passenger exited the cab and attempted to swim back to shore. The passenger made it back to shore safely, but Allman went under the water and did not resurface.

At 1:12 a.m. on Friday, DNR officers recovered the victim’s body, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
