NORTH VERNON, Ind. — Officer Jessiah Watts conducted a traffic stop in the 00 block of N. State St. During the course of the traffic stop, a probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle operated by Zachary Ryan Clark, 32, of North Vernon.
The search resulted in the discovery of multiple evidentiary items, which led to Clark’s arrest.
Clark was transported to and booked into the Jennings County Jail on the following preliminary charges:
Dealing in methamphetamine — Level 5 felony
Dealing in marijuana — Class A Misdemeanor
Possession of methamphetamine — Level 3 felony
Obstruction of justice — Level 6 felony
Possession of marijuana — Class B misdemeanor
Possession of paraphernalia — Class C misdemeanor
Driving while suspended — Class A infraction
Clark had previously been released from jail on his own recognizance in connection with a previous pending charge. He is now being held on a $20,055 bond.
