COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Bartholomew County Highway Department has announced that Legacy Excavating will be maintaining railroad crossings in two locations next week and closing roads in the process.
Crews will be working on County Road 650N, between Deposit and East Streets, from Tuesday, June 16, at 6 a.m. until Wednesday, June 17, at 6 a.m.
Then, they will move to County Road 1100S, between County Road 600E and State Road 11 (Jonesville Road), and work from Thursday, June 18, at 6 a.m. through Friday, June 19, at 6 a.m.
Both closures will be 24-hour projects. The roads will be signed and barricaded. Motorists should avoid the areas and find alternative routes.
