SEYMOUR, Ind. - Officials at the City of Seymour have announced that a "Boil Water Advisory" will be in effect for a small portion of town beginning Thursday, August 20, at 9 a.m.
The affected areas include 16 customers on:
- W. 2nd Street
- N. Chestnut Street
- Indianapolis Avenue
Water system improvements will be taking place in that area, and water pressure will be reduced to less than 20 PSI.
The Boil Water Advisory is expected to be canceled on Friday, August 21, at 4 p.m., unless otherwise notified.
During the advisory, customers should boil water for at least one minute and allow it to cool before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or other consumption.
